Sanskrit for Chanting – Level 2: An Entry into the Vedic Suktams

A 8-week course 

[Eligibility: Sanskrit for Chanting: Foundational Course or knowledge of Sanskrit alphabet from other study]

This new level will be easier to follow and deeply rewarding. Together, we’ll explore:

• Nouns, genders, and declensions (cases) as found in the Suktams and common prayers
• An introduction to verbs and tenses found in the VedaStudies materials
• Word-by-word analysis and translation of: 
  • Opening Prayers 
  • Agni, Śraddhā, and Medhā Suktams
