The ancient wisdom of India presents human life as guided by four sacred aims: Dharma (ethical living), Artha (abundance and livelihood), Kāma (righteous fulfillment of desire), and Moksha (liberation).
In this course, we explore how Dharma is the foundation upon which all other pursuits must rest. Without ethics, discernment, and truth, neither the right generation of wealth nor its proper use is possible. Artha, when guided by Dharma, becomes a source of well-being rather than imbalance; Kāma becomes a celebration of life rather than attachment.
Above all, we will reflect on Moksha as the central and guiding purpose of life—the awakening that gives meaning and direction to all other aims. When Enlightenment is kept at the heart of life, the four objectives naturally align and support one another.
